Additional Information: | WALL DORMER ON BRACKETS ON SIDE. ORIELS OVER FRONT PORCH. WOOD SHINGLES IN GABLES. Felbel was a retired farmer from New York. Before moving to this house he farmed along Kiesling Rd. Additional map code: 94/8 This two-and-one-half story Colonial Revival-influenced residence rests on a coursed, quarried stone foundation. The roof line incorporates a pyramidal hip roof core, gabled wall dormer, gabled wing projection, polygonal roof and hipped roof dormer. There are diamond-paned, lead glass windows and decorative shingles within the gabled peaks. An open, flat-roof porch extends across the south facade and rests on wooden column supports. The standard-sized windows throughout the house are generally one-over-one-light sash types and possibly original. There is also a hipped-roof garage on the property. |
