2014-This two-story commercial vernacular building was constructed by E. Kaltenbrun and John Bruns in 1854 as a hardware store and tin shop. It is located at the northwest corner of North Main Street and West Lake Street. The front (east) facade faces North Main Street. The portion of the building fronting West Lake Street (107-109) was added in 1887. The building is clad in cream brick with a flat roof and metal drip cap. A recessed entry flanked by decorative wood pilasters and large fixed-pane storefront windows with transoms is centered on the front facade. An ornamented wood beam with decorative brackets spans the front facade and separates the first and second stories. The second-story facade consists of three, one-over-one, double-hung sash windows with stone sills and segmental arch brick hoods. Decorative brick details include pilasters, dentil coursing, recessed panels with geometric details, and corbelling. A portion of the side (south) elevation facing West Lake Street not covered by the 1887 addition features a fixed-pane storefront window with an ornamented wood beam and decorative brackets. A small c.1940 one-story flat roof structure is located at the corner where the original building and later addition meet. The second story side (south) elevation features one-over-one, double-hung sash windows with stone sills, segmental arch hoods with keystones, and simple corbelling at the cornice.

The original 1854 facade of this building was modified when the 1887 addition was built, giving the building its current appearance.
