Previously surveyed in 1986.

This was the home of Gustav May, a miller and businessman, between c. 1880 and c. 1900.

An 1880s house featuring a central two story polygonal entrance tower with tent roof and dentil trimmed eaves placed between two street facing gabled bays, the Edward May cream brick house is further characterized by a blind round arch over the second story tower window and segmental arch with keystone over the entrance door. Triangular pediment shaped wooden window heads with egg and dart molding also decorate the brick elevations. Stained glass transom panels on the double window on the tower facade and on the bay window on the north side as well as a stained glass stairway window further ornament the house. A Palladian styled window and a bracketed window on the south wing, a one and a half story rear wing with dormers and six over six windows and a two story wing on the north side extend from the main structure.
