Additional Information: | Projecting wooden cornice stained glass; open flat roofed porch with dentil trim and carved posts with bracket capitals and mansard roofed vestibule; decorative cut out bargeboards and shingles in gable ends; bracket trimmed two story cut away corner bays on front wing. Osmund Forkenbridge, a railroad worker, lived here around 1900. Initial research indicates that none of the occupants of this house are historically significant either individually, or as a group within the proposed historic district. This building does not meet the criteria of the NRHP for architectural significance because of a lack of integrity. However, this building has sufficient architectural character to contribute to the proposed historic district. |
