-A circa 1910s-20s porch extends across the front facade and wraps around to the south.
-In addition to the house (AHI 7256), the property includes a vertical barn (c1937) AHI 126241 , silo (c 1940s), fieldstone milkhouse (c1881) AHI 126243, concrete block shed (c1940) AHI 126242, side-gabled, board garage (c 1960s) AHI 126244, a grain bin system (1890-1981) and a modern metal machine shed (1996) AHI 126096.
-This property was in the Andrews family by no later than 1839. John Andrews first occupied a log house on this parcel and later constructed a frame residence. The subject house was built in 1881 by John's son George. Property was then sold to Edward A. Goodman. In 1918 Robert G. Chapman purchased the parcel. Robert passed away in 1924 and the land went to his widow, who then sold it to their son John. In April 1949, John's son Roger bought the parcel, as of 2002 they still owned the land.
