Additional Information: | A 'site file' (Second Avenue West) exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History. WELL-PRESERVED BUNGALOW OF THIS DATE Architectural Description and Significance: This is one of the best preserved examples of the late 1920's bungalow and abuts the proposed northern boundary of the Second Avenue district. It was left out of the boundary due to its late date when compared to the district's period of significance. This two story residence features clapboard and shingle siding with a front end hipped gambrel roof profile on the house and sunporch. Most original windows intact. Wall dormer seems large and may be an addition. |
