BALUSTRADED PORCH, VERY GOOD EXAMPLE OF AN ASHLAND TYPE [Date Cnst:(A)] This large two story clapboard residence has a front end gable with two original windows above the symmetrical front veranda with Tuscon columns and a balustrade and a central entry. A gabled wall dormer features a three part rectangular window much like a Palladian window, but simpler. The house is large example in good repair of a type found throughout Ashland and which contributes to the district. |
