Additional Information: | 2002 - This two-story, Colonial Revival house is clad with aluminum siding and rests on a concrete foundation. A tall, brick chimney rises from the hip roof, which is covered with asphalt shingles. The main (south) facade is fitted with an open, hip-roof porch that features a recessed entry along the left (east) wall. Featuring a metal railing and resting on brick piers, the porch is supported by Doric columns at the corners and a pair of brick piers in the center. A gabled block that carries a bank of four windows rests on top of the porch roof. The gable is pedimented and pierced by a diamond patterned, multi-pane, fixed window. Fenestration generally consists of one-over-one and multi-pane, double-hung sashes arranged singly and in a variety of multiple groupings. Most of these windows are obscured by metal combination storms. Property tax records indicate that this house was built in 1912 for Andrew J. Pick, who maintained ownership into the 1950s. No information on Pick was located. At present, the property appears to be a duplex. |
