Additional Information:2022 - Krouskop Park is located in Richland Center bordered by the Pine River to the north and STH 80 to the east. It is 37.5 acres in size and features playground equipment, areas for picnicking, swimming pool, ice rink with warming house, 2 lighted baseball/softball diamonds, basketball court, 2 lighted tennis courts, 2 lighted pickleball courts, 2 sand volleyball courts, 8 shelters, restrooms, walking and snowshoe trails, groomed cross country ski trails, along the river, access to fishing and canoeing/kayaking on the Pine River, 5 camping/RV sites and a new Veterans Memorial Pavilion. The park’s topography is level and features hardwood trees in no particular design. A multi-use path runs diagonally through the park starting in the southwest corner crossing through the park to the northwest. A city road runs the opposite direction crossing the park diagonally from southeast to northwest. Krouskop Park is Richland Center’s largest park and was dedicated by A.H Krouskop on October 8, 1925, to the public for its pleasure and recreation. A.H. Krouskop, originally from Ohio, moved to Richland Center in 1851 residing in the area until his death in 1930. He was a local manufacturer and merchant.
