Additional Information: | An altered late Queen Anne home veranda roof and columns have been removed. Designed in 1903 this house was originally the home of Albert Gilbert, son of William Gilbert, proprietor of the firm of William Gilbert and Co. carrier of paper mill supplies. The home was occupied by Edmund Lachmann, Miller paper manufactutrer, banker, and mayor. In 1934 it became the home of Sam Pickard, banker and civic leader. The house was previously surveyed in 1981 with a map code of 6/12. The 2004 map code is 156/23a. |
