Husband Shoots Wife and Stepson
Henry Harris, 66, of 824 Mound Street, shot his wife, Alice Harris, in the ankle and his stepson, Oliver Davis, in the thigh after a family squabble. Henry left the house after the shooting, stopped at Trotter's Tavern, 763 West Washington Avenue, and announced the shooting to the people there. He dropped the gun and walked out heading for the police station. He was picked up on the way by Dane County patrolmen who were headed for their county assignments. Here, a policeman examines the .22 caliber pistol. |
