The Menasha
A description of this photograph provided by Ernst Schmidt reads: "The government river inspection boat with the 'Mystery' tied to her and the 'Bottoms Up' near by. The 'Menasha' was a might[y] nice boat." The "Mystery" was a racing yacht owned by the Schmidt family of Black Point Estate. She was competing in the 1927 Inland Lake Yachting Association Regatta on Lake Winnebago. The Menasha was a side wheeled steamboat on the Fox River. |
