White "Multi-Tiered Pagoda"
Unfinished cast-concrete sculpture identified as "Multi-tiered Pagoda" and measuring 92" x 32" x 32." It is standing in Sid Boyum's backyard. The brick wall of the Madison-Kipp Corporation is in the far background. This black-and-white photograph shows blue ballpoint-pen ink lines outlining the edges of the tiered squares that decrease in size from the base to a missing pyramidal point. A handwritten notation of Sid's on the back of an undigitized image states that the pagoda took two-and-a-half tons of cement to make. |
