ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
In August 2018, Shan Holt, great granddaughter of Lucy Rumsey Holt, identified the location of this photograph. Cathedral Woods, now known as Cathedral Pines and part of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, is open to the public as a Wisconsin State Natural Area. Lucy Rumsey Holt is responsible for the conservation of this stand of old growth pine-hemlock forest. See similar image IDs: 139310 and 139313.
