The Reverend Doctor Eunice Blanchard Poethig (1930-2018) was clergy and a national leader in the Presbyterian Church (USA). She is the daughter of Juliet Stroh Blanchard and Werner J. (Pete) Blanchard. She is the grandniece of Lucy Rumsey Holt. "Eunice and her brother David were raised by Juliet, a leader within the League of Women Voters, and Pete, an inventor, pilot, and head of the Aeroproducts Division of General Motors."
