State Sanatorium

A view down the road towards the Wisconsin State Tuberculosis Sanatorium, also known as “Statesan", with multiple buildings along the base of tree-covered hills. Fences line the road and a large tree is in the right foreground. It was the only state run Sanatorium in Wisconsin. It opened on November 7, 1907 and closed in the fall of 1957. |
