Thompson House
The William Thompson family on the porch roof of their substantial brick bracket style house with shutters, and with latticework at its foundation. A girl on the porch roof is holding a doll. In the 1870 Census, the inhabitants of the house were William Thompson 44, his wife Matilda 44 and six children: George 16, Fred 14, Ida 12, Margaret 9, Clara 6 and Emily 4. Thompson owned Mazomanie Flouring Mills. The home was located in Robinson's Addition Lots 4 and 5, Block 2, at 21 State Street, Mazomanie, Wisconsin. |
