Old Fort Howard Hospital
Fort Howard Hospital. Within a year after the United States troops landed on the west bank of the Fox River in August, 1816. Dr. Beaumont lived in this house when he was an army surgeon stationed at Fort Howard in 1826-1928. The building in the rear is the ward room of the hospital. |
