Pawling & Harnischfeger 5-ton type "M" auxiliary hoist at the Belmont Iron Works. A man wearing a hat is in the cab. The monorail hoist crane, used in steel fabrication, has a pendant cage and dial controls. It is stamped with the text "Pawling & Harnischfeger Co., Milwaukee, Wis." and "3110." The crane in the background is stamped "Pawling & Harnischfeger, Milwaukee, Wis., Cap. 10,000 Lbs., Cr. No. 3113, Pat No. [illegible]." |
