Madison Vocational School Addition Cornerstone
The cornerstone for the million-dollar four-story addition to the Madison Vocational School was laid at the corner of North Carroll and West Dayton Streets corner of the structure. Emil J. Frautschi, president of the Madison Vocational and Adult Education board, wielded the trowel at the ceremonies. Standing behind Frautschi and the cornerstone are, left to right, Richard W. Bardwell, director of the Vocational school, George J. Forster, acting city manager, Fred M. Mason, member of the vocational education board, John P. Butler, supervisor of the building project, Frank G. Collester, board member and Mark A. Cullen, president of J. P. Cullen and Sons, general contractors for the job. |
