Statement along bottom of poster reads: Authorized and issued by Loomis Peronal Campaign Committee, John A. Becker, Chairman, Madison, Wis. Loomis ran for the 1940 and 1942 election for Governor. While he won the 1942 election, defeating incumbant Julius P. Heil, he died of a heart attack just before taking office. Walter Samuel Goodland, the Republican Lieutenant Governor, took over his term. |
