SUMMARY
Surrounded by Lakeland College, this district contains the principal academic buildings of the Mission House Seminary and College, which was the product of educational and religious fervor of German immigrants. This ten-acre, park-like setting contains five large brick academic buildings constructed between 1879 and 1934 in Classical Revival, Late Victorian Gothic and Colonial Revival styles.
