NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' titled "Nordberg Manufacturing Plant" exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office.

2016- "The Nordberg Manufacturing Company Plant consists of a number of buildings constructed between 1901 and 1941. The property is located on a large parcel at the northwest corner of S. Chase and S. Oklahoma Avenues and is a series of both stand-alone and interconnected industrial buildings and offices. The buildings are accessed by a driveway off of S. Oklahoma Avenue.

To the north of the Contemporary office building is a c.1901 foundry stock shed building (AHI No. 230654). It is a long, two-story building that is now clad in metal siding, with a front gable roof. Most of the large, plate glass windows appear to be original. To the west of the factory are the original machine shops (AHI No. 230655), coal bin (AHI No. 230656), and powerhouse (AHI No. 230657). These are a series of interconnected buildings. Most are clad in brown brick and appear to have their original, large, fixed-pane windows."
