Additional Information:First building of the university.

Educational building contructed in the Neoclassical Style, which was popular in public and institutional architecture of the early 20th century. The facade is red brick with contrasting trim and colonnade.

This building was the new site of the State Normal School when it moved from 18th and Wells Streets. (See survey site at 830 N. 19th Street for history of the school.)
