Laboratory Technicians
Laboratory positions are available through the Museum Archaeology Program at the Society. These positions are available throughout the year. The work may include all or most of the following:
Archaeological Laboratory Technicians: The individual will wash, label, catalog, and prepare artifacts for analysis and curation.
In addition, the individual may be called upon to work on other specific tasks depending upon the persons interests, background, and task availability.
Specialized Laboratory Skills: These may include a reconstruction of pottery vessels, processing of soil or carbon samples, artifact illustration, or preliminary artifact analysis.
