Museum Archaeology Program
Work-study positions may be available for Madison-area students who have been awarded work-study funds as part of a financial aid package from their college or university.
Archaeology Lab Technician
Assists in the processing of archaeological collections and data. The position involves washing, labeling and packaging Native American and historic Euro-American artifacts collected in Wisconsin. Other tasks include entering artifact catalog and bibliographic data using Microsoft Word for Windows, Microsoft Excel, and WordPerfect; maintaining project files; duplication and assembly of technical reports; archival/historical research. Prefer some coursework or experience in archaeology, but will train.
