Base Ball Sunday

Come cheer on the Greenbush Dead Citys vintage base ball team as they defend their home turf against another historic team, playing by the rules of 1860. Game time is 1:30 pm. Following the game, fans will be invited to join team members in a rousing pick-up game. Game included with general admission to Wade House. The Greenbush Dead Citys will return to the historic playing field during their next game on August 11.

Ticket Info: Game included in cost of general admission to Wade House (game-only tickets $5 per person). Adults $11; children (5-17) $5.50; students and senior citizens (65 and over) $9.25; family (two adults and two or more dependent children 5-17) $30. Horse-drawn transportation on the site included in ticket cost.

Location Description: Wade House, an 1860s stagecoach inn built to serve traffic along the plank road that connected Fond du Lac and Sheboygan, tells the story of frontier entrepreneur Sylvanus Wade and his family during the Civil War years. In addition to the inn, the historic site includes the recently reconstructed Herrling sawmill, one of the few working, water-powered sawmills of its kind in the nation. Wade House is also home to the Wesley Jung Carriage Museum, which houses the state's largest collection of antique carriages and working wagons.

Venue: Wade House

Address: W7965 State Hwy 23
PO Box 34

City: Greenbush

Accessibility Info: Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals requiring wheelchairs for mobility. Call ahead to make arrangements.
