The Lucky Star of Roy Chapman Andrews
This Beloit native is said to be the inspiration for the "Indiana Jones" character! Award-winning author Ann Bausum presents an illustrated talk about one of the most celebrated explorers of the 20th century. Chapman is best remembered for his expeditions to the Gobi of Mongolia from 1922-1930. Learn how Chapman went from janitor to director of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Program follows a catered Chinese dinner.
