Mapping Your Ancestors and Their Neighbors

We have all struggled with land descriptions, especially metes and bounds descriptions that run from John Smith's fence, northeast to the old maple tree. Learn the value of knowing who lived next door or down the road, and how to map the land owned by your ancestors and their neighbors. After a short lecture, a hands-on exercise will give you personal experience mapping your ancestors. Protractors, rulers, pencils and erasers will be provided.
