Celebrating Laura Ingalls Wilder: An Autumn Lamplight Tour
In a series of six theatrical scenarios, actors portraying characters out of Laura Ingalls Wilder's
Little House books will perform skits that reveal some of the kinds of problems that the Ingalls family encountered in their day-to-day lives. After a prelude in the Ramsey Barn Auditorium that portrays Laura Ingalls Wilder and her daughter, Rose Wilder Lane, recalling their work together in writing the books, the audience follows the actors as they move about the
Old World Wisconsin grounds by lamplight, performing other skits inspired by the homey tales spun in the pages of the
Little House books, which followed the Ingalls family as they picked up roots and moved time after time. After the finale in Harmony Town Hall, guests are invited meet with Laura Ingalls Wilder, daughter Rose, and members of the cast to discuss the evening's events. Reservations required. This event is sponsored by the Kachel Family Foundation.
Ticket Info: $30 per person ($25 for members of the
