Harvest Weekends: Cookies and Kuchen
September is the time to begin the work of the harvest and prepare for winter. Join us on these special September weekends as we cook and preserve, learn a little and enjoy the landscape. On this weekend, wood stoves will be fired up for Christmas baking, which often began in the fall, as some cookies needed time to develop their flavors and special characteristics.
