Barns of Wisconsin and
Horse-Drawn Days: A Century of Farming with Horses in his talk, "Horses and Barns: A Glimpse of Wisconsin's Rural Heritage." This event is part of the fourth annual Fox Cities Book Festival. Apps will also be available to sign books.
"Horse-Drawn Days" captures stories of rural life at a time when a team of horses was a vital part of the farm family. Before tractors or steam engines, horses did all the heavy work, from spring plowing to the fall harvest. "Barns of Wisconsin" explores historic and noteworthy barns featuring the stunning photography of Steve Apps.
