People of the Big Voice Book and Exhibit Reception
In a joint event with the Wisconsin Book Festival, the Wisconsin Historical Museum will present this reception for "People of the Big Voice: Photographs of Ho-Chunk Families by Charles Van Schaick, 1879-1942." The event will offer a perfect counterpart for the festival's 2011 theme, "Voices." Enjoy tasty food and good company as you meet the book's authors, Tom Jones, Michael Schmudlach, Amy Lonetree, George A. Greendeer and Matthew Daniel Mason.
