'History Afield: Stories from the Golden Age of Sporting Life' Book Presentation in Manitowoc
Stories of sportsmen past come to life in "History Afield: Stories from the Golden Age of Wisconsin Sporting Life," an account of the many and varied sporting pursuits that are part of the Wisconsin tradition.
Wisconsin Historical Society Press author Bob Willging will discuss
History Afield at the Manitowoc County Historical Society's "Hungry for History" series. The program includes dinner, and a book signing will follow.
An ardent sportsman, Bob Willging frequently writes about Wisconsin's rich sporting past. He lives in Rhinelander with his wife and two children.
