History Sandwiched In: Les Paul, Guitar Wizard
It's hard to imagine what popular music would sound like today without Les Paul's many inventions. In addition to his being one of the greatest guitar players of all time, Les pioneered the solid-body electric guitar and the multi-track recording machine. Join author Bob Jacobson as he describes the many obstacles and inspirations that shaped Les Paul's amazing career as one of America's true musical giants, a story told in his book,
'Les Paul: Guitar Wizard.' A book signing will follow the presentation.
History Sandwiched In is an informal, brown-bag lunch-and-lecture series held the first and third Tuesdays of the month. You are invited to bring a lunch and enjoy a program of historical perspective.
