Our Gardening Heritage Symposium


Wisconsin Historical Society Press authors Marcia Carmichael and Lee Somerville will be joining the Rotary Botanical Gardens in Janesville for the organization's annual spring symposium.

Marcia Carmichael is the historical gardener at the 576-acre Old World Wisconsin, the largest of the Wisconsin Historical Society's living history museums, and the author of 'Putting Down Roots: Gardening Insights from Wisconsin's Early Settlers.'

Lee Somerville is a landscape historian, master gardener and author of 'Vintage Wisconsin Gardens: A History of Home Gardens.'

Ticket Info: $65 for Royal Botanical Gardens Friends members, $75 for the general public
Includes resource materials, box lunch, and light refreshments.
