Two special guests at the museum this day include Marcia Carmichael, Old World Wisconsin's historical gardener and award-winning author of 'Putting Down Roots: Gardening Insights from Wisconsin's Early Settlers,' and Lee Somerville, author of 'Vintage Wisconsin Gardens: A History of Home Gardening.' The two Wisconsin Historical Society Press authors will sign copies of their books at brunch from 10 am to noon. They also will give a talk available to all museum guests beginning at 1 pm, and they will be available to sign copies of their books at the museum store until 2 pm; Marcia Carmichael will be available until 3 pm.
