Tour of the Century: The Baskerville in Madison
Built in 1913-1914, The Baskerville, located at 121 South Hamilton Street in Madison, will celebrate its centennial on May 10–11. The celebration will be a free guided tour of the building, led by docents from the Madison Trust for Historic Preservation, and an opportunity to make a free-will donation to benefit several charities: Rubin for Kids, with scholarships going to high school graduates; Porchlight, to bolster a peer support program for those transitioning into long-term housing; Japan International Volunteer Center, to help dig village wells in Laos; and to The Baskerville Preservation Fund to help preserve and maintain The Baskerville.
We are proud to hold this event in celebration of Wisconsin Historic Preservation and Archaeology Month.
