Open House and Tours of Effigy Mounds in Sheboygan
To celebrate Wisconsin Archaeology Month, the Wisconsin Archeological Society is sponsoring an open house at Indian Mound Park in Sheboygan. Tours of the mounds will be provided by Wisconsin State Archaeologist John Broihahn. Park brochures will be handed out by members of the Town and Country Garden Club of Sheboygan. Artifact displays and posters about the effigy mounds in the park (the Kletzien Group) will also be on display.
