Milwaukee Irish Fest and the Ward Irish Music Archives

Join Barry Stapleton, director of the Ward Irish Music Archives, as he takes a brief look into the history of Milwaukee Irish Fest and the holdings and projects developed within the Ward Irish Music Archives. Learn about the origins of the Milwaukee Irish Fest and its commitment to promote and preserve Irish culture year-round. The Irish Fest Center also houses the Ward Irish Music Archives, the largest public collection of Irish music in America and consists of more than 40,000 Irish music recordings and memorabilia. This event is presented in partnership with the Dane County Shamrock Club.
