Rousing with the Roosters Breakfast
Extend your
Life on the Farm experience. Try out the 19th-century lifestyle by working together in the Schottler bakehouse to prepare a sunrise meal the same way many early immigrant farmers did. We'll work up an appetite as we feed the farm animals and tend to the gardens. We may even find some eggs or berries to add to our meal.
As the stove is lit, you will chop, stir, season and fry to prepare a hearty German-American breakfast. View the full
Rousing with the Roosters breakfast menu (
PDF 911 KB). Our abundant breakfast will be served family style on Schottler farmhouse porch. Ask about gluten-free options.

Rousing with the Roosters breakfasts are limited to a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 registrants on each date. There is a possibility that the event will be canceled if the minimum number of registrants isn't met. Registration closes at noon the day before each event.
