Acrobats of Circus China will Dazzle Crowds

A highly skilled team of acrobats from
mainland China will perform twice daily.
For the second year, Circus World will feature an astounding troupe
of Chinese circus acrobats hand-selected from mainland
China's best circus schools.
By hosting a Chinese circus, Circus World Museum will continue a longstanding
tradition in American circus history, according to David SaLoutos, Circus World's
longtime singing ringmaster.
"Chinese performers have been featured in American circuses since the 1840s,"
said SaLoutos. "Chinese circus performers take their
profession very seriously and train an average of seven
years before they begin performing publicly." The Chinese Circus
troupe will perform twice daily — at 11:30 a.m.
and at 3:30 p.m. — inside
the newly renovated Hippodrome building.
