Table after table of donated items ranging from artwork, framed photographs and jewelry to fine wines and consumer electronics attract guests who enter silent bids for items of their choosing and — later in the evening — take part in a spirited live auction for specialty items. Guests browse the broad selection of goods while sampling some of southern Wisconsin's finest restaurant cuisine and tasty beverages before settling in for the live auction and rollicking circus entertainment. The auctions, in-kind gifts and contributions by Gala sponsors generated nearly $153,000 in proceeds in 2007.
