Definition: (Dem.), 70th Assembly District. Born La Crosse, August 5, 1936; married. Graduate La Crosse Aquinas high school; pre- law UW-La Crosse 1957-60; LL.B. UW-Madison 1963. Attorney. Veteran; served in marine corps 1954-57. Member Marshfield Chamber of Commerce (director), state, Wood county and Marshfield Bar Associations. Elected to assembly 1970 and 1972. Biennial committee assignments: 1973 --elections (chm., mbr. 1971); judiciary (vice-chm., mbr. 1971 and jt. interim Com.); rules. 1971 -- revision, repeals and uniform laws (vice-chm.); legis. council's remedial legislation Com.; legis. council's coin. on mobile home taxation.
