Definition: (Dem.), born St. Croix Falls, Feb. 3, 1923. Educated at St. Croix Falls elementary and high schools. B.S. River Falls State University; Doctor of Optometry, Chicago College of Optometry. Optometrist since 1954; high school science teacher 1953-54, World War II veteran; served in Army in Middle East Theater of Operations 1943-45. Member of American and Wis. Optometric .Assns., International Board of Examiners in Optometry, Indianhead Optometric Assn., V.F.W., American Legion, Chamber of Commerce, St. Croix County Historical Society, Hudson Boosters (Little League). Member St. Croix County Welfare Board and county Mental Health Com.; alderman 1961-63; county board supervisor 1962 to present; member and past pres. State Board of Examiners in Optometry 1959-64.
