Definition: (Rep.), born Feb. 21, 1889 town of Proviso, Illinois. Educated parochial school in that state. 1914-17 a wheat farmer in Saskatchewan; since 1919 engaged in farming. Was secretary of co-operative cheese factory 21 years. Public offices include town treasurer; town chairman; county board member 19 years, chairman 8 years. World War I veteran.
