Term: Geneva [origin of place name]
Definition: At the first legislative naming of the towns of Walworth, the southeaster quarter took its name from the lake which Mr. Brink had rechristened in 1835, and from the village which began its growth the next year. The lake reminded Brink of Seneca Lake with Geneva at its foot.
