Term: Bad River Reservation
Definition:
Ojibwe Indian lands totaling ca. 156,000 acres on Lake Superior near the town of Odanah, created under the treaty of 1854 and settled by traditional (non-Christian) Ojibwe; its population in 2001 was ca. 6,800.
