Term: gambrel roof (architecture)
This roof style has four slopes. The two slopes at the top have a slight pitch; the side slopes are longer and steeper than those at the top. Although found on some 19th-c. homes in New England, in Wisconsin it is most often found on barns. View more information at wisconsinhistory.org
