Term: Fender-boom (logging)
Definition:
A boom on either side of a gate to guide logs going through sluice gates. A boom so secured that it guides floating logs in the desired direction. Same as glancing-boom, sheer-boom. View more information about logging elsewhere at wisconsinhistory.org
